This page is meant to be a guide for users on how to navigate through the site, learn about the basic actions and features that the site has to offer.

Navigation

There are two navigation menus, one on the left side of the screen and a pull-down menu on the top. The links one concerning your profile are found on the left (for example you can edit your profile, pictures, music, events €¦). Here you can view your comments, picture comments and blogs as well.
At the top of the left navigation menu you can see your username.
The top navigation menu links to upcoming events, party pictures, forums, member and band profiles, Antronic radio, and other stuff.

Update your Profile

You can update your profile by clicking edit profile on the left navigation. Here you can post some information about yourself and update your profile options
You can make your own layout (these scripts are allowed: html css en flahobjecten).
To add some photos you can click on photos on the left navigation menu. Here you can upload, delete or rename your photos.
To change your icon you can click on œavatar on the left navigation menu. Here you can upload, delete or rename you avatars. Your avatar will appear with every message you post.
To change your signature you can click on signature on the left navigation menu. Here you can type a signature text or upload, delete or rename a signature image. Your signature will appear on the bottom of every message you post.
When you click on "polls" you can make your own polls and add them to your profile. You can have more than one poll, but only one can be displayed on your profile.

Messages

Comments: These messages are viewable by everyone if you display these at the bottom of your profile. In the inbox will appear all the comments you receive. You can save, delete or reply to this messages. When you send or reply to a comment this will go to your outbox. You can edit, delete or save these messages. When you delete a message from your outbox it will be deleted from the other users inbox and profile. When you save a comment this will go to your savebox. All messages in your inbox and outbox get deleted regularly so be sure to save the ones you would like to keep.
Private comments. These messages are only viewable by yourself. The inbox, outbox and savebox work the same as with normal comments.
Photo comments. These are comments posted on your pictures. The inbox, outbox and savebox work the same as with normal comments, the private photo comments will go to your private comments inbox.

Blogs

To create a blog, click on "my blog", here you can type a blog, name it, and post it. You can also view your previous blogs and read the replies other users left. Normally anyone can see your blogs but you can set your blog to friends only so only users on your friend list will be able to view.
If you click on friends blog on the left navigation menu you will be able to see all the blogs posted by people on your friendlist.

Forum

Friends / Favorites / Blocked users
You can add any user to your friends, favorites or blocked list except yourself. When you add a user to your friend list their blogs will appear in the friends blog section. Also you will be able to view their "friends only" blogs. Blocked users can still view your profile but cant send you messages.

Music, radio, events

Antronic is a music community. There is a large number of band profiles on the site. These profiles are automatically generated which means that not every band profile is claimed by the band itself. On the band profile you can read the biography, view the albums they brought out and view if there are events coming up where this band will be performing. Also on every band profile there is a list of bandnames who make music that is similar to the music of the band that you are viewing.
Antronic radio is accessible by both members and non-members from the top menu. You can hear music from different genres going from (blaaat). When a song is playing you can see a picture of the band, a piece of the biography, most played songs and events where this band will be performing. When you click the band name you will go to their profile, this will open in a new page or tab. The radio also has a song requester where you can look through the music library and search for songs. When you request a song it will be possibly placed in a waiting list before it will be played.
In the event list (accessible from the top menu) you can search for events or sort them by country. When you see an event you are planning to attend, you can indicate this and it will be placed in your event list. In your event list, accessible from the left navigation you can view all the events you will be going to. You can see which users from your friend list will be going as well or delete an event if you are no longer going. When you click on the tab friend events you can see all the events people on your friend list will be going to. Afterwards you can check the event photos page to see if there are any photos uploaded from the event.

Art

In the art section you are given the option to upload art or designs you have made yourself or find worth uploading. If you click on "edit art" (left navigation menu), you will be able to add new pieces, delete or edit old art. It is also possible to view the comments other users have left on your art. When you click on someone his/her art, you can leave a comment and rating. On the right of your screen you can also see a drop-down menu with the latest art which has been uploaded to the Antonic Community.

Ratings

The rating system is a system based on a point scale from 1 to 10. The more you like someone's profile, pictures or art, the higher the amount of given points. If you have gained enough points you will climb the ladder of top rated boys/girls. Those lists can be found in the top navigation menu. There you can select between the highest ratings in general or subclasses such as males, females, pictures and bands.

Diary

In your personal diary you'll get an overview of all the events which you will be attending, besides that the diary will automaticly update and add all the birthdays of people who are in your friendslist. Last you will also be able to manualy add extra's to this overview.

Photos and albums

You can place your photos in folders and albums so that you can neatly organise them according to certain dates or events. This way you can keep a clear overview of all your pictures. Via the left navigation menu you're able to edit, rename, delete and organise your photos. If you click on a picture you'll also be able to see the given ratingpoints and the comments people left behind.

My home

With this function you'll get a short overview of a select few interesting thins such as what your friends are doing right now. With a short calander notice you'll be informed of which of your friends will have his birthday soon or which event is coming up. The last information on this page is a list of people who you might also know and a list of the latest actions your friends have done on Antronic.
